ExFiltV3 calculates drawdown time for water in storm water ponds and exfiltration systems after the soil is saturated based on the Simplified Analytical Method. The methodology is presented in SJ93-SP10 as well as the St. Johns River Water Management District Applicant’s Hand Book. The theory is that unsaturated flow occurs first up until the soil becomes saturated. Then saturated flow or ground water mounding occurs. This program calculates the time it takes for the remaining depth of water to drawdown or percolate under this saturated flow condition. |
